faq

We realise you may have a few questions - especially if this is your first charter. Below we have answered the most common questions & requests (FAQ) that we receive. If you have other questions, please get in touch by email or phone.

How do I book a charter with you?

You may book your charter securely online using this link and you can also select any optional extras you may desire. We require a 40% deposit* by credit card (online) or in cash to secure your yacht charter booking. On the day of your charter, we accept the balance in cash or by credit or debit card.

are there any hidden charges?

There are no hidden charges. However, it is worth noting that each boat has different conditions. When chartering Serenity Kallia the fuel that you use is included in your charter price. On Latchi Pearl, the fuel that you use is charged separately from the charter price and at market rates (gas station prices). Included on board both boats are non-alcoholic refreshments and fresh fruits.


Please note that we cannot stock every kind of alcoholic beverage aboard, but we are happy to stock the bar with your favourite drinks. So, make sure to tell us beforehand what you would like when making a booking. These drinks can be purchased on the day from the Captain. If you would like additional food, cakes, flowers please, order them during the booking process.

what happens if I need to cancel a booking?

You will be given a full refund if you cancel 14-days or more prior to the commencement of your yacht charter booking. Cancellations within 14-days are usually not refundable however, exceptional circumstances will always be dealt with considerately.

what happens if you need to cancel a booking?

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the time or the date of your charter booking owing to mechanical or technical difficulties, we will first offer you an alternative time and date. If you are on holiday and it is not feasible to come on a rescheduled booking, we will offer you an alternative yacht charter with one of our partners or a refund less any additional costs for services or extras that you may have ordered.

what happens if there is bad weather?

In the event that the weather takes a turn for the worse on the day of your charter, and therefore unsafe to travel we will offer to reschedule your booking. If that is not possible we will provide a full refund.

how do we find you in Latchi?

Serenity Kallia is located at the East end (right-hand side looking out to sea) 😉 of the Harbour. She is very close to the Harbour Entrance to the sea. It is easier to park in the large tarmacked car park next to the children's play park and 5-a-side football pitch if you are driving yourself. When you arrive Call us (+357 99 302 879) and someone will come and meet you. If you have arrived by other means, walk through any of the roads or pathways into the harbour and give us a call. We will come and meet you and take you to the boat.

Latchi Pearl is located on the South Wall of the harbour, opposite the access road just before you reach Blue Knight Property Realtors. You can park on the road, in the large gravel car park, and sometimes very close to the boat if you take this access road. Please, call when you arrive in Latchi and we will make sure someone is there to meet you.

 
What can we expect on board?

Both Latchi Pearl and Serenity Kallia are sleek modern motor yachts appealing to different types of people. Latchi Pearl can be as much fun for larger groups as it can be intimate for couples. Serenity Kallia is opulent and luxury personified. Both boats have the same passenger capacity of 12 people.

Both boats are fully equipped with the latest safety equipment and there is a lifejacket available for every passenger.  Prior to departure, you will receive a safety briefing from your Captain and if you have any questions please, let him know before your leave the harbour.

It goes without saying. You can expect to be warmly welcomed by all our staff and we are dedicated to ensuring your day aboard with Blue Lagoon Charters will be positively unforgettable.

 
do you provide towels and swimming aids?

Swimming Aids including masks and snorkels are available on both boats. Owing to the available space towels are only provided on Serenity Kallia. You should bring your own towels if booking a charter on Latchi Pearl.

can we bring our own food and drinks?

You are of course welcome to bring your own food and drink with you on any charter booking you make. And, we don't charge corkage 😉

If you cannot find what you would like to bring in local shops, let us know and we will do our best to provide them for you at a little additional cost.

what happens if we get seasick?

We provide non-drowsy seasickness tablets containing natural ingredients. If you know that you may be susceptible to seasickness these tablets usually work best if you take them at least 30 minutes prior to sailing. Please, ask us for details and consult your physician before taking any kind of medicine with which you are unfamiliar. Blue Lagoon Charters cannot accept any liability.
