How to Charter a Yacht from Latchi Harbour
Latchi Harbour is a hugely popular destination for boat enthusiasts looking to charter a yacht to explore the stunning Akamas coastline. Located on the island’s northwest shore, Latchi is known for its crystal-clear waters, picturesque beaches, and charming local villages.
Whether you’re an experienced sailor or a first-time charterer, we have super options to suit your needs and budget. In this blog, we’ll take a closer look at the process to charter a yacht, including what to expect, what to bring, and some tips for making the most of your trip.
The first step in chartering a boat from Latchi Harbour is to decide on the vessel that best suits your needs. Often, this means a motorboat that can whizz you or sedately take you along the coastline.
The most highly-regarded boats in Latchi Harbour are; Latchi Pearl and Serenity Kallia.
They are both stunning, modern and luxuriously equipped.
Latchi Pearl is a Jeanneau Cap Camarat and BRAND NEW in the 2022 season. This flagship walk-around model features a massive forward sundeck and a vast, comfortable saloon area with an exterior galley. She has excellent handling at sea, whether for family outings or watersports activities with two powerful 250 hp engines she is planing rapidly.
Serenity Kallia is our beautifully and classically styled Sunseeker Manhattan 54. Serenity Kallia is a 16.5m luxury motor yacht. She has 7 berths in 4 cabins and has 3 bathrooms. The design and layout, with the galley separated from the main cabin, make it an imposing and exclusive yacht. Serenity Kallia delivers superior accommodation in any environment.
What is the next step to booking your charter so that you can quickly get on board?
Well, typically, you can either book securely online or in person at our sales offices in the harbour. You can book now if you like using our online reservation system below.
When booking, you’ll need to provide basic information and tell us which boat you’d like to charter, the duration of your trip, and the number of people in your party. Tell us about any extras you may need, such as return transfers from Paphos to Latchi, Champagne, a delicious platter and anything else you desire. It’s a good idea to book as far in advance as possible, especially during the peak summer season, as availability can be limited.
When it comes to what to bring on your trip, there are a few essential items you’ll want to pack. These include sun protection (sunscreen and a hat) and a swimsuit. You don’t need a towel. We have them on board. Remember comfortable clothing, shoes, snacks and drinks (especially if you’ll be out on the water for an extended period). Albeit our boats are fully equipped with complimentary refreshments.
Once you’ve arrived at Latchi Harbour, you will check in with us and complete the essential paperwork. This typically includes signing a rental agreement and providing a valid form of identification. You may also be required to pay a deposit or the remainder of the total rental fee at this time.
Once you’ve completed the check-in process, it’s time to set sail!
As you explore the beautiful coastline of Latchi and the Akamas, you’ll have the opportunity to discover hidden coves, secluded beaches, and ancient ruins. There are plenty of charming vistas to see along the way, each with its unique character and history. Could you please provide some more information on half/full day prices for one small boat for 2 people?
What about a specific license? Is it possible to rent & drive the boat ourselves without a skipper?
Thanks & have a nice day
